Papa Woody Synthetic Wax is an all temperature wax, so you can use it on the cold powder days and the warm spring days. It is similar to petroleum-based paraffins in crystal structure, but since it is synthetic it is much harder and more durable. This means it will last longer than your typical wax.

We usually get 12 - 15 days out of one wax job with this wax in mid-winter and 6 - 8 days with it in spring when conditions are really icy in the morning and sloppy in the afternoon. Compared to the regular petroleum-based waxes available at your local ski/snowboard shop that only last for one day of hard riding or skiing (if you're lucky), this wax is the goods.

• The blue industrial wax is recommended for average Tahoe conditions.
• The synthetics are an excellent cold powder wax as well as a great all around performance wax. We recommend using the Papa Woody Synthetic Waxes for cold powder days & just about everyday you go.
• The red dot synthetic (with fluoros) is the top gun of wax. This is what we ride.
